Turning 30 is a big milestone.
Now at 29 I am no longer in the partying or bad decision-making stage of my life – for better or for worse. So before I turn the big 3-0, I decided to attempt 30 activities – experiences to reflect or help me grow. One item on the list – join a creative course.
Thus I came upon to enroll onto the 4 weeks Into to Floral Design Course at Melbourne Art Class with Carolyn Howells.
The floral design course integrated a small amount of art therapy with great mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
SO WHAT DID I LEARN??
Week 1: Orchid spiral technique in a low vase with warm autumn tones – design principles and elements.
Week 2: Front facing design with beautiful lilies and roses in pastel colors and wrapping technique.
Week 3: Roses arrangement in a vase with foam and color theory.
Week 4: Hydrangea and dahlia round bouquet with vintage theme and wrapping technique.
